A unique storytelling show featuring epic adventures through collaborative storytelling & personal reflections on the Heroes we pretend to be.

In recent years Role-Playing Games have entered the mainstream, popularised by shows like Stranger Things, Community, South Park, Rick & Morty, Adventure Time, Critical Role, and the world record-breaking playstation game ‘Baulder’s Gate 3’.

R.P.G.’s have evolved from a guilty pleasure played in shadowy of basements, to the forefront of ‘nerd’ culture as one of the purest outlets of social storytelling, self-expression, and moral philosophy. Yet a significant percentage of the roleplaying community remain unrepresented in online content… and so, we're going on an adventure.

Adventure waits for no one...

Role-play Every Day! is a role-playing adventure show that combines elements of improv theatre, reality television, and panel game shows with a through line of mental health advocacy and social inclusivity.

This is a show unlike anything currently produced and appeals to a pre-existing subscription based audience that are currently resigned to shows that don’t utilise artistic embellishment, nor engage in cinematic styles of any kind, yet still garner audiences and subscriptions in the millions.

Role-play Every Day! fills a gap in the current market by providing a genuine roleplaying experience presented with high production values, sidestepping the current "window box" trend common in the genre, in a format designed to build a cult of personality around the players themselves as they share their lived experiences and personal reflections on the thematic situation at hand.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
— Oscar Wilde

We have attracted a diverse cast of experienced role-players with intriguing and unique life stories, who are excited to come together to experience clever narrative presented by charismatic veteran Dungeon Masters.

Unlike current web-shows in the genre, RPED features dressed sets that evolve as the characters change location, custom built props that allow our players to embody their actions in real time, and many secret gimmicks to surprise and delight our players, all shot beautifully lit by our professional camera team.

Our show is designed specifically with the audience in mind, making it more far than an audio podcast with a visual element, it is truly a show worth watching.

"You think roleplaying is nerdy, and uncool?

Let me ask, do you adapt your personality to fit your situation? Perhaps you have a certain persona when talking to family, and another for your friends. Maybe you have a phone voice for work, or a silly voice for your dog? Seems pretty normal, doesn’t it? Seems like you’re roleplaying already.

What if, instead of a ‘nerdy game’ I offered you a new type of social interaction, one made just for you.
What if, once a week, I offered you the chance to be a Hero?"

— The Dungeon Master, Seeking Ataraxia Episode 1

Evey adventure begins with a single step...

The pilot launch of 'Role-play Every Day!' presents three original series written, designed, and preformed to allow our players to share their personal journey as the narrative unfolds.

Each series consists of seven filmed 3-5 hour game sessions, which are live streamed to our founding audience.
The sessions are then edited, animated, and made available to our paid subscribers as Twelve x 30 minute episodes per series.

Companion content for each episode includes a highlights and sizzle reels from game sessions, player interviews, goggle-box style player reactions, post-show interviews, as well as an "Role-play Education" series where our Storytellers share their knowledge and offer advice on how to better run and play the game at home for your friends. This content acts as advertising and maintains our communities appetite for content between episodes shared for free via Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram, and Twitch capturing the fun and energy of the show while teasing the full subscription experience.

Beyond the pilot series, we will simulcast all future sessions publicly live to Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube live, allowing subscribers to view the full un-edited experience and offer the occasional opportunity for the audience to directly interact with the show via live voting on story-paths, triggering traps, and repercussions to player actions.

Unconventional people, tell unconventional stories...

At its heart, the theme of our production is inclusivity and mental health awareness. Role-playing games attract a diverse fan base from all over the world. In Hasbro's 2020 census D&D alone boasts a player base of over 50 million players world wide. Which includes a colossal community who are neurodivergant (ADHD, dyslexia, BPD, etc), socially-akward, or diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

This audience gains an extraordinary benefit from watching players discuss and act out genuine social interactions, and navigate challenges on-the-fly - explaining their actions in easy to understand language. Despite this there is currently minimal representation of this community on screen.

Roleplaying games build a safe space for people to be fearless in the face of danger. Being surrounded by friends, while playing a character allows players to explore social interactions and discuss topics without the anxiety of being judged or becoming embarrassed. Neurodivergent players make up a significant portion of the audience because of the social benefits they gain from this type of programming.

Our inclusive cast includes players with a lifetime of roleplaying experience from all walks of life. From Lawyers, Baristas, Pilates Teachers, ARIA Award winning Musicians, Filmmakers, Comedians, Neurobiologists, Refugees, to Social-media influencer's with strong following and more, many of whom carry a neurodivergent diagnosis, live proudly on the spectrum, or exist as a person of transitioned or non-gender.

Our cast are excited to share their lived experience and give insight on how role-playing has shaped their lives, and in some cases even prolonged it.

How it started…

…How its going!

Your call to adventure…

Having completed 75% of principal photography for our pilot series at Precinct 75 in St Peters, we are now searching for our new home. We have kept our costs low throughout by utilising every skill and favour at our disposal, but currently the entire show is self funded by our show runners.

It is a huge investment for a group of freelancers who truly believe in the project and will do everything in their power to achieve their goal.

Role-play Every Day continues to invite commercial sponsors to join us in making this dream a reality. In return we offer integrated brand endorsement, advertising placements, and branded sponsor credits in every episode.

We look forward to beginning the conversation and are excited to take on this adventure together.
